Wanted to share this on Halloween

Hello fellow WikiTreers,

When my mother died on October 31st a few years ago, my grief mixed with confusion. Mom passed on the eve of All Saints' Day. She who had been a faithful Catholic -- until disillusion and bitterness set in -- left us on a pagan holiday and was cremated on a Catholic holiday.  It seemed a little spooky, or romanesque, that she who had suffered immensely for the last 15 years of her life should mark her passage on this symbolic day. Since then, October 31st is a special anniversary, a where I always take time to contemplate. Thanks for letting me share.
