I thought there was a way to link a FamilySearch.org record to a matching WikiTree profile.?. I would like to link FamilySearch L2DM-WYZ with WikiTree Cooper-11086. Do you know how to do this?
Hi, Kitty. You closed this with a note saying you had found your answer. I reopened your closed post in order to retag it -- and I foolishly did so before I had copied the details.
Questions related to connecting WikiTree with FamlySearch come up fairly often, so I think the answer you found would be helpful to others. I think that your answer referred to https://apps.wikitree.com/apps/york1423/fs-match/ and the associated Help page at Help:Family Search Connections. If I'm wrong, please correct me -- and provide more details that might help others.
Oh,alright. Here is the tool to link a person record ID on FamilySearch.org with a matching WikiTree ID. https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Special:EditFamilySearch
If you look below the public comment section on Aunt Claire Nell’s profile, you will see the link to her FamilySearch.org record. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Cooper-11086
I do this by clicking on "my watch list" then selecting "FS matches"
