No, don't worry, you are not seeing double. The original chain was so popular that I've had to start a new one!!

The United Kingdom Project has numerous sub projects including:

1. England Project: to join this project, and get your United Kingdom badge for this, please go to'  https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/564066/the-england-project-is-looking-for-you to  sign up.

2. Scotland, now including the new Declaration of Arbroath sub project    https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Declaration_of_Arbroath  plus

(Scottish Clans Project with its own badge)

3. Wales

4. Ireland (For Irish Roots Project, with its own badge, see https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/580498/do-you-have-irish-ancestry-join-us-in-the-irish-roots-project-

5. Scots-Irish and Ulster Scots

6. We have categories covering British Crown Dependencies and Overseas Territories plus Commonwealth Countries which do not have their own Projects.

We also coordinate closely with the various European Aristocrats projects.

If you would like to join the project we would love to have you.  Please post an ANSWER below (except for England), let us know which part of the UK you are interested in and follow the instructions on the project page.   Thanks.

hi Sir Walter Stewart is my 5th cousin 22 times removed.so i would like to join the scotland project. Tks Elizabeth (Shaw) Joslin
I would like to join Scottish Clans, please. I have trace my lineage to Clan Chattan (Direct descendant of McGillivray)
Hi Elizabeth and welcome to the UK and Scotland Projects.
Hi Amanda and welcome to the Scottish Clans Project.
I would like to join the Scotland Project and the Scotland Clan - ARMSTRONG.  I am a descendant.

I was also wondering if there was anything for Brasher.  My maternal Grandmother was a Brasher who was from England

I am looking to increase my family information
I see you have Scots-Irish, but nothing assigned as a project. Do you have any idea when that one would start?

Also, what, exactly, is meant by the phrase? Asking because I'm Glasgow-Irish -- the Irish that migrated to Scotland instead of everywhere else. If it fits that, it's perfect :D

ETA: Oh! And I have a special interest in Linlithgowshire. A lot of my family, like my Great Grandmother, came from there.
Hi Norma and welcome to the UK, Scotland and Scottish Clans Projects.
Hi Eileen.   Scots-Irish and Ulster Scots refer to the Plantation of Ulster in the early17th Century.  Here's a link to our project page  https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Scots-Irish_and_Ulster_Scots  Descendants of many of these immigrants moved on to USA.

Like you my Maxwell Irish ancestors moved from Ireland to Glasgow c 1875.  Spookily enough I now live in West Lothian which was previously called Linlithgowshire !!

I would say that your best match project wise are the Scotland and Irish Roots Projects.   If you agree I'll sort the badges for you.  Scotland Project is part of umbrella UK Project - Irish Roots has it's own badge.
Hi My name is Lori Bast. I would like to join the Scotland project as I am a descendant of the Elliot clan. I am currently researching my family history of the Elliot Clan, kaey family and our direct link to King Charles II.
Hi Lori,  So that we can welcome you into the Scotland or Scottish Clans Projects I need you to sign our honour code.   It's just a click.   Follow this link to do this https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Member_Types   Thanks.

I would like to join. My maternal grandmother was born in Scotland, but I am beginning to think her parents might have been from Wales, I can't find anything on them so far (might be getting some info on them today or tomorrow - fingers crossed). I am also tracing my maternal grandfather's family back through England, my paternal grandfather's family back to Ireland, and paternal grandmother's family back to England.

Hello, I would like to join the United Kingdom Project please. My main area of interest is in England and I have just discovered some pre 1700 profiles of the Moore family of Appleby and Kentwell Hall which require some work. I am new to Wikitree but have a  fair amount of personal research which needs to be worked through and added to Wikitree. I have also begun to link up some branches of the Elton family of Bristol, Somerset, and Devon.

Thanks

Hi there! I would love to join the UK project. Being from New Zealand, all of my ancestors immigrated to NZ by ship either from England or Ireland (whether they originated in said countries remains to be discovered, haha) which makes genealogical research further than about my great-great grandparents difficult.
