edit #2: I'd probably just propose to merge the profiles, whether they're the same, or are meant to be different people. The family of Flowers-1253 contains only two people, not connected to anyone else, with few dates or places, and no sources. Both profile managers seem to be active, and they can sort it out themselves.

might in fact be the same person. They were both born in Stepney, Middlesex, England in the same year, and had children in the United States, apparently in Surrey Virginia. The minor spelling difference between Flower and Flowers is unimportant.
I'd start by creating an unmerged match between the two profiles, and then start looking for records. If you can find only a single British Jacob Flowers, having children named John and Henry Humphrey in Virginia (and or North Carolina?) I'd guess they're likely the same person.
