Marriage Certificate with different name from the one I have listed

My Grandmothers name is in question. My mother told me her name was Rose May, Smith, but I have found in Washington State records a Marriage Certificate for Almon, Jero Taylor and Rosilie, Gushwa.  The date on this marriage certificate is dated August 28, 1926.

This Marriage Certificate is from the Washington, Marriage Records, 1865-2004 Record for Almon J, Taylor.

Since you yellow locked her profile, her birth date doesn't show. We could maybe find her if we know the DOB ?

All I see about your grandmother is "Rose M." I don't know if you have many of Almon's records, so I have attached what I found:

  • "United States Census, 1900," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MSDC-5J9 : accessed 10 November 2017), Almond Taylor in household of John B Taylor, Macksburg, Marquam, and Needy Precincts, Clackamas, Oregon, United States; citing enumeration district (ED) 86, sheet 3B, family 58, NARA microfilm publication T623 (Washington, D.C.: National Archives and Records Administration, 1972.); FHL microfilm 1,241,345.
  • "United States Census, 1910," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MLB4-YW1 : accessed 10 November 2017), Almond Taylor in household of John B Taylor, Chemana, Marion, Oregon, United States; citing enumeration district (ED) ED 205, sheet 4B, family 82, NARA microfilm publication T624 (Washington D.C.: National Archives and Records Administration, 1982), roll 1284; FHL microfilm 1,375,297.
  • "United States World War I Draft Registration Cards, 1917-1918," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:K6Z5-FSY : 12 December 2014), Almon Jero Taylor, 1917-1918; citing Jefferson County, Oregon, United States, NARA microfilm publication M1509 (Washington D.C.: National Archives and Records Administration, n.d.); FHL microfilm 1,852,058.
  • "United States Census, 1920," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MHNL-787 : accessed 10 November 2017), Almon Taylor, South Kittitas, Kittitas, Washington, United States; citing ED 78, sheet 8A, line 27, family 57, NARA microfilm publication T625 (Washington D.C.: National Archives and Records Administration, 1992), roll 1932; FHL microfilm 1,821,932.
  • "United States Census, 1940," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:K9SM-B84 : accessed 10 November 2017), Almon J Taylor, South Ellensburg Election Precinct, Kittitas, Washington, United States; citing enumeration district (ED) 19-31, sheet 6B, line 46, family 115, Sixteenth Census of the United States, 1940, NARA digital publication T627. Records of the Bureau of the Census, 1790 - 2007, RG 29. Washington, D.C.: National Archives and Records Administration, 2012, roll 4349.
  • "United States World War II Draft Registration Cards, 1942," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QVJT-58QZ : 13 October 2017), Aimon Jero Taylor, 1942; citing NARA microfilm publication M1936, M1937, M1939, M1951, M1962, M1964, M1986, M2090, and M2097 (Washington D.C.: National Archives and Records Administration, n.d.).

EDIT: I don't see any Rose Gushwa's born in New York in the 1910 or 1920 Censuses. Not that that means much, but it would imply that the Rose M. Taylor from New York on the 1940 Census is not Rosilie Gushwa. Per Ms. Dalton's multiple marriage theory.
