looking for information on july caudill. born may 1870 ky

maybe his name was james and went by july. he was born in may 1870 in the masons creek, perry co ky area. he had 4 children. in the 1900 census he was 30 and listed as a widower. their youngest was born jan 1900. I think his wife died sometime during or shortly after child birth. their children are henry r caudill, william caudill, ora j caudill and gabril b caudill . I cannot find any other census of this family or who the wife was. ora j caudill married henry h hall. I cannot find much info on him other than he was known as henry 'bud' hall...he was the son of arminda hall of perry co, ky

Dear Patricia,

    I think you should look at the family of Isam & Juda Caudill in the 1870 census of Leatherwood, Perry County, Kentucky.  Their family includes a Julyan [Julian?] of about the right age, although listed as female.  It appears the Moses enumerated with that family is the Moses listed next door to July in the 1900 census.  Check it out!

thank you. july is listed as a male in the census. I am related to isom caudill and  judah (Julia) sumner as well. they are the parents of my great great grandma sallie caudill hall. my great great grandpa william hall.
