I haven’t found any answers. I did find the family in the 1892 census

New York State Census, 1892," database with images, FamilySearch( : 6 November 2014), Delia Ryan, 1892; citing Brooklyn, Ward 10, E.D. 14, county offices, New York; FHL microfilm 1,930,231.

And a newspaper clipping attached to your William Henry Ryan on an Ancestry family tree

More info... this address should match the 1910 census

Thank you!

Hi Kay

Sorry to take so long to answer I work retail and this time of year is so crazy!  I have all of William and Delia's Census 1892, 1900, 1905, 1910 then the 1915 census Delia Ryan child  John H and Albert with Albert's wife Irene and grandchild James no William Henry her husband.

Children are

In 1910 they were living at 291 Fifth Avenue, the 1915 census still had them at 291 Fifth Avenue so I believe William died between 1910 and 1915.

Also found a family living at 290 Fifth Avenue in 1920 Charles W Ryan wife Mary F

Children are
Irene M.
Charles W
William J

1920: 290 Fifth Avenue

I can not figure out the connection.

Hello Mr Gill,

Thank you, I did see this census but discounted it as all William H Ryan census except one had his mother born in New York.  Your thoughts on this?

It does make a lot of sense as the Meaghers were closely related to the Lynch's . But I do not think William would change his career from an engineer to a bartender
