George Bryce(c.1781-1846) of Manchester

Question

My ancestor George Bryce was born c.1781 in Scotland. The names of his parents and siblings are unknown. He married 8 April 1816 by Licence to Ann Johnston (also of Scotland) at the Manchester Cathedral. He lived in Manchester for the rest of his life, having several children baptized at the Lloyd St Prebyterian church, one of which is Thomas Bryce, profile Bryce-461 He died on 7 Feb 1846 in Manchester, aged c.65.

I would be very grateful if anyone is able to shed any light on his parents or place of origin in Scotland.
