Taking notes, is there a place here online where I can share those notes with others?

When I go through the documents, especially the Roman Catholic Parish records, I keep notes on the dates and pages, along with certain surnames in case I need to go back to them. I would like to find some place to record the notes I take on line. Anyone have any direction for this?

...profiles have comment boxes which are good for notes others will see.  And these comment boxes can be edited and more...
Yes, that I realize and I do link and comment on an individual profile. However, if I am researching Cap St Ignace, I take notes on the years they start on the pages. For instance -year 1880 - pages105 to143 of 686 pages.

Yes, you can create a free space page to keep your notes on. Put your pointer on add at the right top of your profile and click Add New Thing.

Profiles of Places and Things

Free-Space Profiles are wiki pages for supplementing family history. They're "anything pages" — free space for genealogy.

For example, you can create a profile for a pet, a house, event, school, or family heirloom. They can also be used for organizing your research, e.g. To-Do Lists, or for collaboration, e.g. Free-Space Projects.

Here are two examples of Free-Space Profiles:

The above can be viewed by anyone, but these profiles can also be kept private just for the family members and friends you designate on the profile's Trusted List.

Creating Free-Space Profiles

Simply use this form to start a profile. This is accessible from the "New Thing" link on the "Add" pull-down menu in the upper-right corner for members. Click here for the Help Pages for a Free Space Page/Profile.
