For anyone with Irish ancestors with any property who died pre 1800 the, the loading of Bethams Wills Abstracts to the FindMyPast website is momentous news. Most Irish will were destroyed in 1922, but Sir William Betham made short abstracts of tens of thousands of them from the Prerogative Court collection. They usually give names of who the beneficiaries are. The new collection is fully indexed and is just an amazing resource.  The few remaining Prerogative Court wills that survived the 1922 fire are now on the FamilySearch website. John

Yep 500,000 named people. Most of what you want can be accessed for free via https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/224404 This is indexed by the person leaving the will not the beneficiaries so you may miss some.

For deeds try https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/185720?availability=Family%20History%20Library This is mainly property sales but does include some genealogical info.
