Researching Elizabeth Le Maitre b.1789 Middlesex married Samuel Stanton as well Samuel Stanton's grandfather married Judith Bataille dau of Isaac, son of Isaac Bataille and Judith Petit, both of Sedan, France but all their children born in Spitalfields, Middlesex, England. Any information on this line would be helpful. Thank you.

Also found Judith Petit marriage to Isaac in 1699 they had a son Pierre born 1700 have information if they are the right people.
Yes I believe that is the line I'm looking for confirmation on.  Judith Bataille apparently married Issac Stanton in 1748.  As far and I know they had at least 3 children - Elizabeth; Charles and Isaac. My line comes from the third listed Issac.  Any information would be appreciated.  Thank you

I am new to Wiki trees so I can't answer, but I have an ancestor, Rachel Le Maitre (1785-1821) and I was wondering how to add her, in terms of surname.   I see you used the maitre in a tag, do I have to drop the Le?

You should pose this as a new question so someone can answer you correctly.

Thank you.  I already did. smileyyes All sorted.
