Hello, I looked up this info for you. I Found Several things.Curd left a slave to his son John  an one to his daughter Milley when he died. Johns was named Jane. Milleys was named Mary. The web site for this info is as follows, freepages.rootweb.ancestry.com/~eastenngen    There was another web site that said Curd had 5 slaves before the war. 2 male 3 female ,but no names were given. I will keep looking for you. By the way Milleys full name is Milley Hill. In some places it was Milly Hill without the "e". I hope this helps. I can mail you the proof if you cant find it. Thanks, Teresa Davis, My Grandmother was born a Cox also.

Thank you. I have visited the graves of all my direct Cox ancestry up thru Curd's dad, Henry. Curd's grave site has several graves within a clump of trees on his property. The assumption is that there are several slaves buried within that area. Two of his sons, John and Richardson's grave, also. I say that because from Richardson comes Frelinghuysen, Harvey Monroe, Roy Lin, then my dad. From John Cox comes Rufus, Alice Bell, Lissie Lula, then my dad. So my line from Curd splits for 4 generations then comes back together.

It shows on the Kgis map that Curd Cox cemetery is located on my property on E Bullrun Valley Drive

Does anyone know anything about this?
