Webinars for topics: Categorization, Coding, Merges

I suggest that we develop Webinars for topics in regards to:

  • Categorization:  Creation of a category
  • Coding:  Which might overlap with Categorization, but coding for including pictures in the Bio section, headers, references
  • Research and citations
  • Merging and duplicates

I used to use NetMeeting to reach out and do train the trainer/training manager of offsite locations, and perhaps this is outdated but I am looking for a hands on format where it is live, others could register and participate, and then probably be able to come back and have any questions answered that might have arisen as a result of their implementation of what was conveyed in the original format.

A format where others are able to sign up and register in advance and then sign on and participate.

Nae,

This is a wonderful idea! You'll lead this effort?

Thomas MacEntee has lots of Webinar experience; I'll make sure he's sees this and could offer advice.

Sorry, I responded directly.  But the answer is ABSOLUTELY!  ARE YOU KIDDING?

The key is going to be having "experts" and other moderators with experience join in.  That is going to fold into a whole other concept of coordination and collaboration on Wiki Tree,  which is my goal.

Not separate projects, but a collaboration between projects, supervisors (put aside petty issues or bruised toes) and work together to make this a better place with all the suggestions and minds coming together.
Great Idea, I look forward to signing up for a webinar.

I will get a schedule and proposal together for this in the next couple of days.  And Billy, you probably will be a called upon expert for one of them... smiley

Where is the schedule posted?
Just give me fair warning so I can practice to stop myself jabbering on lol
We don't have a schedule yet...this is still in the works..hoping to get some up in January if all goes well.
Trying to set up blank dates for personal calendar :)
