Need ancestors of David McLean born circa 1780, Cummertrees, Dumfriesshire

Question

David appears to be married to Janet Smith, no birth/death info on her.  One of their children is Edward McLean born 1806 married to Margaret Johnston. Am looking for info on David McLean and Janet Smith and their respective ancestors..  Everyone appears to be born in the Dumfriesshire area from what I can tell.
