Looking for Ascendant Information About my Grandmother Martha Jane (Moore) Crouch?
I am looking for clues to the identity of my maternal grandmother's, Martha Jane (Moore) Crouch, parents. She was born 11 Feb 1932 in Anselmo, Custer, Nebraska, United States and died 17 Nov 2003 in Ramona, San Diego, California, USA.
The original birth certificaate for Martha Jane (Moore) Crouch is of a little help being that it was a home birth and was not recorded as a birth until almost three months after her actual birth. Specific details have been omitted due to the odd circumstances involving her birth.
Based on stories and information from family members the likely parents could be: Ernest Jack Moore Sr (1880 – ) and Catherine Jane Lee (1887 – 1930), but the dates don't make sence.
My mom is sure her grandmother's name was Carrie Jane and grandfater's name was Ernest, but not much else. I met my Great Grandmother once when I was VERY young so there is no way she could have died in 1930.
I also played with my grandmother's sisters kids. Her name was Nellie and she had at least one girl named Holly.
Most of the Moore family seems to have remained in the Nebraska area.
