DNA propagation through profiles, editable?

I have a cousin Deming-667 who is a DNA match to me and my other cousin, his uncle. While his mother's page indicates the DNA kits of myself and my cousin (who is the uncle) as likely matches, it doesn't carry down to her son's page. How does the algorithm decide when to stop propagating, and can I manually change that, so the connections are displayed? TIA

I believe that propagation time can vary (see this post).

The general time given is 24 to 48 hours after a profile is created (also affected by merges).

According to the profile, Deming-667 was created 22 Nov 2017. Like Lindy says, it takes 24 to 48 hours for DNA connection data to propagate to new profiles.
His mother was created at the same time, yet the DNA tests showed on her profile immediately. Now the son's page, which was blank before, shows his paternal line of tests, but still not the test for me and his uncle.
Lynda Crackett, this is likely a moot point now that everyone is unlisted - but the son is my 2C1R, his uncle is my 1C1R (my father's 1C)

Hi Theresa, The DNA test always needs to be posted on the actual test participant's profile.  J Deming has no DNA test posted on his profile.

Neither he nor his mother have DNA tests posted, but tests of others who have tested and are likely matches propagate to pages of potential relatives, tested or untested. The likely matches propagate to his mother, but not one more step down to him.

How many steps are there between him and the common ancestor? There is a limit on how many generations for propagation.
