RootsSearch WikiTree Integration is forever ... loading ... since Firefox upgraded to a New and improved version?

Seems that WikiTree is the ONLY genealogy website that still functions. I can't even contact Firefox for help!

It works for me in the new version of Firefox. Lindy Jones had an issue with a script/ad blocker. Do you have any installed?
The Script/Ad Blocker suggestion got FamilySearch_app working for me. I'm using the EFF blocker called Privacy Badger. It would just spin after logging on to Family Search in the pop-up window. Disabling it got it working.

I'll report the web site issue to the EFF folks.

Thanks.

Though I have the new, updated version of Firefox, I've not tried the wikitree rootsearch tool.  I usually go straight to the Internet or use  books.

Are your FIrefox add-ons still functioning?
Most of mine stopped working.  And when I looked for replacements, there were only 75 TOTAL (none of which I wanted).  So I am in the middle of changing to vivaldi, as recommended by someone here on WT.  Much better.

Firefox has been driving me crazy in the last few days. This upgrade did improve its behavior in some respects, but many add-ons were either completely disabled or needed to be updated, and many websites I use (including all of WikiTree) have been acting up.

Sometimes popup notifications appear for a second or two (not long enough to be read!) that indicate that my adblocker or password manager was interfering with something. I did discover that my adblocker whitelist had disappeared; I've now whitelisted (or restored the whitelisting of) some domains, which has reduced the problems. I still haven't gotten the password manager message to display long enough to figure out what it's trying to tell me.

I'm a long-time Firefox user, but have recently been using a clone (may be incorrect term), PaleMoon, when I work at WikiTree.

I just tested the RootsSearch feature on Firefox Quantum. It worked fine after I made an adjustment (to allow a WikiTree script; https://apps.wikitree.com/apps/york1423/rootssearch/) in my script blocker addon (NoScript). Before I made the adjustment, RootsSearch had this message:

Unable to load the person. Check the ID and try again

If you use a script blocker, your problem may lie there. But I'm not a Tekkie, so it could be another problem!

I did notice that my script blocker was not present when I first updated to Quantum. Only after the script blocker itself was updated did it appear and function.
