Does EditBot have OCD?

I woke up this morning to find that EditBot had changed a bunch of {{findagrave|xxxxx}} entries to {{FindAGrave|xxxxx}}.  The first instance was working perfectly fine, but it wasn't good enough for Ed.  He (am I being sexist by assuming that Ed is a he?) didn't even take Thanksgiving off.  This makes me suspicious that Ed might be eastern European.  I'm afraid that Ed might have OCD and is working himself to death.  Should I be concerned?

I have always thought of EditBot as a virtual dog, perhaps because of its sniffing around everywhere.
Wow, that is cold!
lol Kerry! Although he may not be Eastern European, just another WikiTree addict  ;)

As for working himself to death, I just hope he keeps on going. Yay for EditBot!

Well, Ed has been spotted frequently in the vicinity of a prominent Wikitreer of Slovenian extraction.  The Relationship Finder doesn't show a relationship between them, but rumor has it that Ed is his love child.

The first template may work now but may not in the future. Having it as FindAGrave means that if the website changes then there is only one thing to change rather than findAgrave, findagrave, FindaGrave etc.

It may seem silly but {{FindAGrave|xyz}} is how it is supposed to look so Editbot has had that parameter entered into it to look for deviations.

Pagenames are case-sensitive apart from the 1st letter.  So eg {{Scottish clans}} doesn't work, you have to say {{Scottish Clans}}.

Presumably Eddie is finding all these and fixing them.

But in this case some kind soul seems to have created FindAgrave, FindaGrave and Findagrave and redirected them to FindAGrave.

But I guess it would be more trouble for Eddie to handle that than to ignore it.

Yeah, there are multiple comments including on the FindAGrave template page that capitalization variations are acceptable.  Apparently this non-uniformity was too much for Eddie.  He couldn't sleep so he stayed up late to fix them.  He and a big chunk of his fellow Wikitreers seem to share this OCD trait.

FindAGrave is the correct capitalisation.

Due to the volume of Capitalisation typos (30/day), I decided to make additional most commonly typed capitalisation variations so the template is not red when user types it and this profiles don't end in Suggestions report. This is done by #REDIRECT. I rename all usages of template redirects each day. See  AutomatedTemplateLog in http://www.softdata.si/wt/EditBot/

As I remember I didn't set Ed's gender so he/she is it.

And if I would add a relation to me, it would get Black privacy due to the birth date any you wouldn't see anything.
