Looking for H.H. and Mary Steele from Kentucky - 1840'ish

 Hello All,

   I am in search of my great-great grandparents, H.H. Steele and Mary ????.  I have very little information about them -- and have searched high and low. 

   I can find no census, birth or death records for H.H. and Mary Steele.  I'm assuming that H.H and Mary were likely born somewhere between and 1815 and 1855. 

   What I do know:

• They gave birth to Emma Steel between 1868 (as listed on her son's, Vern's,  birth certificate) and 1871 (as listed on her death certificate). 
• Multiple census records (1900, 1910 and 1920) lists the birthplace of Emma's parents as Kentucky. 
• Emma married Jackson Darby in the home of James Steele on Sept 30, 1888, in Hunnewell, KY. 
• I found a James R. Steele who lived in Hunnewell, Greenup County, KY, in the 1880 census. 
  • James R. Steele lived closed to Ursula and Alexander Darby (Emma's soon to be husband's mother and brother). 
  • James R. Steele's father was John Casteel who lived in Lawrence  County, KY.

I found a marriage record (transcript only) for an H Steele and a Mary Eads in Fayette County, Kentucky at FamilySearch:

Here is an H. H. Steele (no wife named Mary, though) on 1870 Knox County, Kentucky census.
