Elliotts with E-M35 y-dna.

Question

I would like to know if we have any other Elliotts with E-M35 y-dna from some of the companies other than family tree?

Unfortunately, Wikitree doesn't propagate haplogroup determinations from other companies out to the tester's relatives.

To find other testers, you could run searches on Wikitree's lists of members who tested with other companies that report Y haplogroups. Search for Elliott, variant spellings of the name, E-M35, and the former designation(s) for this haplogroup.

It would be very helpful if Wikitree would propagate haplogroups from other companies.

Specifically, see https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Special:DNATests&id=1 for the list of people who tested with 23andMe. Males who tested with 23andMe will have received Y haplogroup determinations, but those determinations don't propagate to the tree. Unfortunately, you have to scroll through that list 500 profiles at a time... I recall seeing a more complete list of testers-by-company, but I can't find it at the moment. Peter Roberts likely could provide links.

I think some of the other testing companies may also provide haplogroup data with their tests that WikiTree calls "autosomal," but I'm not sure.

You could get more answers by joining the Elliott surname project in Wikitree. My mom was an Elliott. Also, FTDNA has groups in it researching Elliott Y-DNA. Check it out!
