Beatrice Hill, wife of William Bromley is a real person who lived in the 1400s, named by a number of old sources as part of pedigrees. What pedigrees are often sparse on is dates. More recent genealogies found on geni and ancestry are full of dates which is convenient-- when they match. But the dates that have become associated with Beatrice on her own profile are a generation later than the dates associated with her as the child of her parents. Either they're right, and there are really two different Beatrices, or they're wrong, and given the weakness of the sources of the dates, I'm inclined to go with the latter.
It would be lovely to find a real date of birth or baptism in an old record, but ANY real dates associated with Beatrice or her close relatives from which better estimates could be made would be helpful. Thanks in advance for anyone willing to take the plunge!
