Any other tags to follow related to Danube Swabian descent?

Hi everyone,

it's hard to believe that there are only three people following the DONAUSCHWABEN tag. I heard that many Danube Swabians immigrated into the US and there are still active communities maintaining traditions like folk dance. I didn't find any other seemingly related tags (and as English is not my native language, maybe I just didn't search for the correct terms). Do you know of any related tags or groups here on WikiTree to follow for information about the Danube Swabians?

Welcome to WikiTree and G2G, Constantin!

You can also follow the tag german_roots, since the Donauschwaben are a subtopic within the large and broad scope of "German roots." The German Roots Project webpage identifies Donauschwaben as a subproject, but that subproject doesn't seem to have developed very far yet. There is a Donauschwaben category and there's a freespace page at https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Donauschwaben

Do introduce yourself to the project coordinator for Donauschwaben -- she's identified on the German Roots Project webpage.

Thank you, Ellen! I added the GERMAN_ROOTS tag and look forward to help in any way that I can.
