it depends. What are their WikiTree IDs? See this comment on another discussion:

See also the page linked to from that comment: Magna Carta [Base Camp].

Here is the source: The Magna charta sureties, 1215; the barons named in the Magna charta, 1215, and some of their descendants who settled in America, 1607-1650, by Arthur Adams and Frederick Lewis Weis.https://catalog.hathitrust.org/Record/005796756

Bassingbourne Throckmorton-108

John Throckmorton-110 who was the immigrant to America in 1631 with Roger Williams on the "Lyon."

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Throckmorton-110 is already in the Magna Carta project's category for Gateway Ancestors. He needs to be in a developed trail to a surety baron & the trail needs to be reviewed & approved by a Magna Carta project member in order to get the Magna Carta project box. See [Base Camp] for details.

Hi Sharon,

If you read the goals and process of the Magna Carta Project you will see that to have the Magna Carta template added a couple of things need to be done.  First, a line must be developed from the individual to a MCS baron.  Every generation must checked for accuracy.  Then a second member needs to go through the line and confirm it.  It is actually a lot of work.

Weis' Magna Carta Sureties and Ancestral Roots, while very good in their time, are no longer adequate for developing these lines.  Too many changes have been made over the last 20 years.  While it is highly likely the lines from Bassingbourne Throckmorton are still good, they will still need to be checked.
