The senator's profile was added to WikiTree by your 2nd. cousin Charlie Brenner:

If you click on the green button "ANCESTORS" you'll see that Charlie is the great-grandson of the senator's parents Harmon Harlow and Katherine Louise. Harmon and Katherine were also your great-grandparents.

If you are interested in Genealogy, you're welcome to join WikiTree and add your branch to the tree.

I don't know that I have all the answers, but I'll start with some basics.

If you're wanting to update/edit his profile, you'd want to first set up an account and become confirmed as a Volunteer, so that you can edit profiles. It's not a complicated process and there is no cost to join.

Once you've got an account, you would need to work with the current profile manager to be added to the trusted list. It is possible that the manager may even want to transfer ownership of the profile to you, since you are a direct descendant.

I think that covers the highlights, but others may want to chime in and add additional details that will help you on your way.

Hello Nancy, Your first step should be to become a member of Wikitree. After that you can contact the profile manager and ask to be added to the trusted list so that you can collaborate on further development of the profile for your grandfather.

Hi Nancy

To access Frank's profile you would first need to be a Wikitree Member, and sign the honor code. Then you would need to message the profile manager Charlie Brenner and request to be added to the profile's Trusted List.

Those steps, once completed will allow you access to Frank's profile.
