Another n00b (this one from Japan)

Stopping by to flesh out my family tree. Started one on MyHeritage, but thought WT might be better, so here I am. Hopefully some of my digging around will be helpful to someone else (or vice versa).

My area would be NE WA, N. ID, S. B.C., KS, SoCal, TN:
Family names:
Martin
Earle
Bush
Sheppard
Sloan
Creasey
Reid

Not at all sure what to write here, so hopefully y'all won't throw too many pine cones at me for being an ignorant noob!

BTW- I'm in Japan, so I assume I'm on the opposite side of the planet from a great number of you all.

Welcome to WikiTree! We're glad to have you with us. Hope you will find WikiTree an interesting place to create your family tree and make contacts with other members.

Speaking of making contacts, it will be a lot easier to do if you include all of your family names in the research Tags on your profile page. You can then be notified of activity on those names and make contact with others researching the same ones.

How is Japan these days? I was there with my dad when he was in the Air Force in 1954/1955. Guess it has probably changed a lot.
