looking for Wooten family that came from Germany

Question

My grandfather told me his family came here from Germany. They settled in Knoxville TN, where they owned a store. They left Knoxville TN, and took a horse and buggy to Iredell County NC. I know my great great grandfather was William Augustus Wooten. Died at age 104 in Iredell County. I think his father name was Lewis William Wooten. I am stuck there. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Karen
