Shared Photo: Hogg Family around 1925

I wanted to share this family photo of Hugh Hogg with the community. Location: Glasgow. Date: After 1925. I especially love this photo because I can't see any likeness between the five brothers which makes me wonder more about what preceding generations looked like. My mother (died 30 years ago) was the image of the matriarch (Her grandmother) in this photo.    

At varying times when I look at my own Grand-daughter I see her likeness to multiple family members who are all very different. 

Different with same - very comforting.

Very nice family photo, Margaret.  You may want to identify all the people in the Comments section on the photo page.  I agree with you - it is interesting to see familiar family traits from previous generations in the current generation.  It is comforting to know that our ancestors live on in this was through us.
