Does anyone have information on Newburgh WILSON b1789 Derryhillagh Enniskillen Fermanagh Ireland

I match on Family Finder very closely with someone who lists his oldest paternal ancestor with this person.  I think they may be associated with my Cassidy/Britton line who originate from Fermanagh as well.

Can't find any info about him on the usual sites I search for this kind of thing.  Any help appreciated.

cassidy-450 is the line I think may be connected.

You may want to try the LDS Family Search website-https://familysearch.org/

There are several births and christening for Enniskillen, Fermanagh, Ireland. Also alot of  "Wilson". Did Newburgh have another name? Such as Robert, John, George, William or Richard. These name are people who are Wilson who were born or christened in Enniskillen, Fermanagh, Ireland.

May this will help you,

Bobbie

Hello Thomas

I have there dna lineage and some of there history. The Newburgh (now Newberry) name come from german refugees in the earlier 1700's

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_Palatines

The men since then are descendants fro he feemale german refugee. Info from the existing family with whom i have visted in Ireland.

Just found a baptism record which shows his parents are Elizabeth and William WILSON.  http://www.igp-web.com/IGPArchives/ire/fermanagh/churches/enniskillen-coi-asst.txt

I have now added his profile to wikitree - http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Wilson-25695

Hello Frank

Have you found any connections to the Cassidy or Britton families?   Mine came from Boho. Can you help grow Newburgh's profile on wikitree?  Whilst the church records shows his father was William, there is no likely record in the list of my previous post.

Veronica
Your Cassidy, and Britton families of Boho should not be connected to the Newburg / Newberry Wilson family here in Fermanagh. The Wilson family still reside in Derryhillagh Townland. Frank.
In the Fermanagh Poll Book, 1788, it records a Newbourk Wilson in Derryhillagh. This person is different to Newberry Wilson of the same place.
Is Newburk/Newburgh Wilson who resided in Moorfield and baptized 26 February 1804 in the Church of Ireland, Kilskeery, Tyrone related to Newburgh WILSON b1789 Derryhillagh Enniskillen Fermanagh Ireland?  Newburk was born to Robert Newburk Wilson and Jane Bleakly/Blakely.  His siblings were Mathew (b. ~1807), Margaret (b. ~1811), Mathew (b. ~1813) and Jane (b. ~1825).  If yes, I would love to collaborate.
Hello Shaun,

Same ancestor, different families each spelling.

gets complicated, several Wilson's married the Blakely girls
