Question

The information I entered to create Rochon-271 has completely disappeared other than myself.

Can you tell me what might have happened? I had had contact with several others and note which are now POOF (gone).

Any suggestions or do I need to start all over again?

I believe that the problem may be that Michelle has not been confirmed.

Profile says: Michelle Rochon is a Guest Member with limited editing ability. That means you can not add family members yet. 

In order to be a full member Michelle,  you would need to finish the process of filling out your tags and clicking on Volunteer button as explained in the initial email. Once you do that you will be confirmed by one of our friendly greeters!!

Here's how to do the Tags: 

You may want to add some tags on your page indicating a family name for one tag and a specific location like a country, state etc you are interested in, for another tag and then add other surnames or locations as tags as desired. That way you will be connected to others with the same interest.

Click on http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:Following to add or remove tags. Be sure to add comments explaining why you're following the tags. Those appear on your profile too.

Rochon-271 seems to be your own profile. If you have lost something from there look at the change list to see what you have edited. None of us can see that because of the privacy settings. There are no other family members connected to it. If you have lost your tree then look for your parents’ profiles and add the correct relationships. Otherwise, you will have to explain more about what is missing if we are to help you.

This is the copy of the email I received when I uploaded my GEDCOM file in 2014...

when I click on my name, and look at the activity it says my tree was deleted. I am the only one listed...everyone I uploaded cannot be found

The date on that email was January 26, 2014...I had resolved the errors and duplications over the next few weeks and had been adding as I went alone missing people confirmed andéor data related to them.

Gedcom files are deleted after a period of inactivity. Did you create any profiles from your gedcom? If so, they will still be on Wikitree. You just need to search for them and link them to your own profile to create your part of the tree.

with over 3500, not sure right now whom I add and whom I did not.
