The family of Mary Kimball (1730-1789)

Question

I was working on a tree tonight when I saw this lady. She doesn't have any parents here. BUT! She has parents on FamilySearch. Here is her profile:

I would work on her tree. But, I noticed something. There are no sources for her parents that I can see. I was wondering if someone could help me out because I would like to work on the tree a bit and add some profiles. If they haven't been added already, I mean.

I know that profile needs to be cleaned up. I cleaned up others near her. Just not her exactly. Any help would be good. Thanks in advance! The profile lists her possible parents Ephrahim and his wife. I just want to be 100% sure before I add 'em.  Haven't found sources in FS, yet.

Chris, Mary Hunt's profile is a little messed up. I have added her marriage data, with an additional source. There are several entries for a "Dorothy Kimball." It is possible that Dorothy is Mary's sister, but I am not at all certain at this point.

The familysearch family tree for Mary names her parents as Ephraim Kimball and Mary Whittier (without sources, as you mentioned). I find a Mary Kimball, daughter of Ephraim, Jr., baptized of  in Bradford 12 November 1732. Again, at this point, we cannot assume that this is our Mary. We can posit Ephraim & Mary (they have profiles) as possible parents in the biography, but I do not believe we should go as far as creating profiles for them and linking Mary to them. Indeed, their profiles have a daughter Mary born in 1727 in Boxford Ma attributed to them (and Boxford VR does have that record.)

One problem is that there is a boatload of Mary Kimballs born in Essex County who could have been our Mary. At this time I don't believe we have enough data to decide which one is ours..

I've done my best to clean it up and add some with sources I found. By and large they seem to be all imported from gedcom files.

This lady, I am not sure about for example:

Mary Converse is a daughter of a Reverand. I've found sources that link her marriage to John Sheldon. A couple books and even a Sheldon website. The problem I have is that they don't list the day of death and yet it's here. The DOD conflicts with her son John's date of birth. Several sites like geni and Ancestry made that mistake, too. So, her story is a little confusing.

Oh and Susannah Hunt needs to be disconnected from her parents as there's no proof she is related to the father of Samuel Hunt.

I think I might have found Mary Kimball. Dates seem to match her marriage to Peter Hunt.

Disconnected the other Mary as there's no mention of her in that book I linked. Fixing up the tree. =D

It's wonderful that you and Jim want to improve Mary's profile and place her in the right family tree. Since I saw your post this morning, I have been googling for her. We will keeping looking.....

Well, if I see a problem I try to fix it. =) It's a little OCD, I admit. But, I'm just trying to make sense of it all.
