What happened to George Firth being 19 degrees from Myles Standish?

Last week the caption at the bottom of George Firths profile page read "George is 25 degrees from AJ Jacobs, 28 degrees from Jeanie Roberts, 19 degrees from Myles Standish, and 27 degrees from Elizabeth II of  Windsor on our single family tree. Was the Myles Standish connection an error?

The featured connections change on a regular basis to feature other memorable profiles as they become things like the collaborative profile of the week or other special circumstances. If you read the very front WikiTree page (before your home page) or the news, you'll often see who is the featured profile of the week. I believe Miles was featured last week, and now it would be Maud McDonald.

Published in WikiTree blog on Nov 23 2017:

"Spotlighted this week is Captain Myles Standish (ca. 1584-1656), military leader of the Plymouth Colony, from the Mayflower Project.  See how you are connected."

(Can be seen at the very bottom of the blog page)

The "Connection Finder" finds connections between any two people on WikiTree only if they're within 10 degrees of each other.

On the other hand, the "Connection Finder" finds the connection to a "Connection Anchor" within 100 degrees.

I would think it would depend on what edits have been made to the various profiles involved in that 19 degrees.
