My Grandfather is William Lewis De Camp.

He married Ann Morgan Wright of Kirkwall, Scotland in 1920 in British Columbia Canada.

Born in Rodney, Mississippi

Born November 13, 1890 (?)

Died in 1966 in Rio De Janeiro Brazil

His father was Walter De Camp

His mother was Mary Stevens (?)

He was a US naval Officer

He had two son's Larry William and David Morgan

A daughter from another marriage, Helen Loraine (?) from Texas

I am Larry's daughter.

My father told me our surname changed, but I don't remember when or what the former name was.

      Walter DeCamp

      -born in Mississippi (sourced)

-parents were William DeCamp of Virginia and Ann Balew of Mississippi (a user noted this on familysearch.org, but I have been unable to confirm)

      Mary Jennie Stevens

-born December 7, 1869 in Port Gibson, Mississippi to Wallace Stevens and Adelia Davenport (unsourced date, sourced location of state)

-remarried Charles W. Belcher on May 4, 1904 in Hinds County, Mississippi. (sourced)

-remarried again to B L Slayton? (per death record)

-died December 22, 1935 in Shreveport, Louisiana (sourced)

The four sons were all listed as "Inmate" in some type of orphanage asylum in Adams County, Mississippi in the 1900 U.S. Census.  I presume the father to have been deceased by 1900, but unsure of the mother's location.
