I would love to get this gentleman categorized in the correct company. Although I do believe he served under more than one. But I'm not seeing which one seems to be the obvious choice. I have listed the information on his profile. Military and war project categorization help appreciated. Thank you!

I added him to Category: Harrison's Continental Artillery. The category that is included in the template is an upper level category. We are going to be updating the 1776 Categories as soon as we are finished with Civil War. He may fit into another one but it appears he died as an Artillery Private.

Awesome, thank you. I searched and searched for his company and tried to find the colonel, but wasn't having any luck!
I added his pension application. That might help. I’ll look again later when I am free. Let me know if you need anything else!

minor change... instead of Category: Harrison's Continental Artillery, it is Category: Harrisons's Continental Artillery Regiment (1776), Continental Army, American Revolution

also created Category: Crane's Continental Artillery Regiment (1777), Continental Army, American Revolution

not sure about Captain Carrington's Virginia Company of Infantry...  Battle of Great Bridge was in Dec 1775, (Gwynn's Island in Jul 1776 pension applicatoin says he was with Harrison's Artillery)

there were 2 provincial regiments (15 companies total) for the Virginia formed in the fall of 1775 and placed under the Continental Army on 1 Nov 1775, and 9 regiments (87 companies total) in 1776.  There was a Captain Mayo Carrington listed in the 6th Regiment (1776), but not as a company commander.  i did see another reference to him as a company commander in 1778

I added a more detailed listing to his profile if that helps at all. Thank you!
