Question

Marion McCath was supposedy the wife of Sir John Sinclair of Dunbeath, and mother of Thomas Sinclair, b. 1618 in Edinburgh. I show John, though,  marriedonly  to: 1)  Catherine Fraser and 2) Christian Mowat, neither of whom bore him a son named Thomas (or any son at all). Please help me figure out what happened, here. Can't find any record of Marion McCath anywhere else. Thank you.

had 15 children total.Neither his wives are names you are using.He was born

May 10 1754 died Dec 21 1835.First wife name Catherine,second wife Dianna.
