We have a new 1776 Project Resource Page. If you have a reliable resource that isn’t already listed, please add it to our page!

If you want to help members with researching 1776 profiles, please list your name in the last section. Thanks to all my 1776 Project Helpers!!

Alpha listings by volume mostly MA, some NH are included. Not all volumes are online.  Some are at archive. org.  Others on HathiTrust.  LN spellings may vary in records, so its necessary to check variant spellings. ie. Howard/Harwood/Heyward

Massachusetts soldiers and sailors of the Revolutionary War. A compilation from the archives, prepared and published by the Secretary of the Commonwealth in accordance with chapter 100, resolves of 1891.  Scroll to bottom of page to see other volumes. has several, includes alpha ranges.

Thanks so much! I will sort the resources by state on the page which makes more sense and will make everything easier to find!

Thanks David! I’ll add these as well.
The only catch is that to use Family Search search functions you have to be a member now.  But membership , like here at Wikitree is free and signing up is easy.
