Alpha listings by volume mostly MA, some NH are included. Not all volumes are online.  Some are at archive. org.  Others on HathiTrust.  LN spellings may vary in records, so its necessary to check variant spellings. ie. Howard/Harwood/Heyward

Massachusetts soldiers and sailors of the Revolutionary War. A compilation from the archives, prepared and published by the Secretary of the Commonwealth in accordance with chapter 100, resolves of 1891.

https://archive.org/details/massachusettssolmpazmass&autoplay=1&playset=1  Scroll to bottom of page to see other volumes.

https://catalog.hathitrust.org/Record/008555379 has several, includes alpha ranges.

Thanks so much! I will sort the resources by state on the page which makes more sense and will make everything easier to find!

Thanks David! I’ll add these as well.
The only catch is that to use Family Search search functions you have to be a member now.  But membership , like here at Wikitree is free and signing up is easy.
And if the DAR record has a pension application number, see if it's been transcribed: http://revwarapps.org/

I have copy of Robert K. Wright, Jr., The Continental Army, an official history commissioned by the U.S. Army's Center of Military History (Washington, DC: 1989). Among other things, the volume describes the evolution, organization, and officers of each of the regiments in the Continental Army.

The very best I've encountered is the pension files, originally sourced to the National Archives.  Ancestry has them digitized.  I've found so much amazing information in those files about service, ancestry and descendants.

I went to the project page but no way to add. These Books have relevant information but are not dedicated 'Revolution' treatises.

John Leigh of Agawam (Ipswich), Massachusetts, 1634-1671, and his descendents of the name Lee. Compiled by William Lee. Heritage Books 1998 MD .

John Long's Voyages and Travels 1768-1788 , Milo Milton Quaife, Lakeside Press 1922.

Benjamin Franklin An American Life, Walter Isaacson, Simon & Schuster paperbacks, 2004

The Brethren in Virginia, Roger E. Sappington, The Committee For Brethren History in Virginia. 1973. - roughly the first 45 pages

Post Revolution :

Washington Cavalcade, Charles Hurd. Dutton.  1948 . -first few chapters tie from Revolution.

Name dropping but possibly helpful:
Reliable historical novels;
Proud Destiny, Lion Feuchtwanger, Viking Press, 1947.

Lydia Bailey, by Kenneth Roberts, Doubleday. 1947. Touches on more Revolutions than American.

( Pre revolution events in England and the Esmond family immigration to America)The History of Henry Esmond, William Makepeace Thackery, DeLuxe Editions Club

Maybe not GREAT resources, but I hope it helps someone.
