Is it possible to view the unsourced category other than by country then county?

Two queries, I'm enjoying my first few months of sourcerers challenges but I'm probably missing something obvious! I want to search the England Unsourced category, but by time period rather than location?

Also while scanning all of England's unsourced I've discovered a huge tree, by an unresponsive manager, on the managers profile there are many messages to ask her to clean up her profiles; messages right up to this month but the last activity from the member was in 2015.

Basically, can I search unsourced profiles by that member or is that a leader permission? The annoying thing is most of the basic info on this managers profiles is easily sourcable! Example included!

I don't know about your search, but I discovered this a couple of days ago. If you search by LNAB then sort by date order, then put in table form and sort by edit date to see the oldest change date, it will jump right out at you. It doesn't look like you can sort this table by Manager. You'll probably find a lot of unsourced profiles that don't have the unsourced tag.

try that picture as a guide after you go to http://wikitree.sdms.si

You will get an error immediately, just click ok.

that screenshot was unsourced england 18th century

You can also do Search then Managed by and add the smith-426 or whatever. This displays ALL though, not just unsourced.

Did I mention our sheet?

http://tinyurl.com/Doctorsheet spreadsheet

It has an unsourced tab that might save stepping through the levels as well as an updated suggestions for those pesky 802 and 803 errors.

You can use wikitree+ http://wikitree.sdms.si/default.htm and do a text search for something like England unsourced 18cen.

If you have a specific gedcom you are looking for, you can use Google: site:wiktree.com badfile.ged
This probably won't do what you want in this case, but it can be useful. You can do a Google search limited to a specific site for any text on wikitree (or on any other site, for that matter)

Thank you for agreeing with me. LOL

One other option I forgot to mention is to go to https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:DBE_Errors_By and click on the region on interest. While {{unsourced}} isn't included as a suggestion -- if you look at errors 802 Empty profile and 803 Almost empty profile these will be unsourced and they are clustered by years. The results will show profile managers (or orphan) which can help  focus your work.

Wikitree will also orphan profiles that are effectively abandoned by an inactive profile manager.  Then you can adopt if you wish.  As always you can edit.  Guidance I've received from G2G is that after a week, it's OK to go ahead and edit if the manager is unresponsive.  I like to give it more like a month, but you should not feel limited if the manager doesn't deal with these requests after a period of time.
