Possible sticker for one place study

+5 votes
Is it OK to use stickers for one place studies?

If so, I would like one like the following;

| category =  North Carolina
| image = Iredell_County-1.jpg
| text = Part of the [[Space:Iredell County North Carolina|Iredell County One Place Study]]

The above works but doesn't pick up the categories.

Yes, there's a process, but I do like your idea.

Glad to see you are tech-savvy enough to create a sticker.  However, I must request that you remove it from any and all profiles on which you have placed it.  The reason: because it has not yet been approved..  In fact, I am not even sure that the other stickers have been requested and approved either.

Profile Stickers can only be created by WikiTree Leaders. They should not be created independently.

This is taken from the help page on Stickers at:

It is not saying that only Leaders are physically able to create the stickers.  It is saying that this is the RULE; you need to be a Leader to have the authority.

Please PM me so we can work out how to add the Project Box template to your profiles (which does add the category).

Stickers need to be requested, then created individually, before they will have a template-style code that we can then add to a profile.

Go to the Stickers help page to learn more, G!

The various Projects will decide whether or not they want to create Stickers for their Projects.

Expect some delay, even if your Sticker is approved!

The One Place Study Project has not created stickers yet, so we are still using Project Boxes while the powers-that-be decide how to go forward.

The Project  Box looks like this:

|category=South Pool One Place Study
|place=South Pool

Unfortunately this template doesn't add categories and produces a large picture that doesn't look good in my opinion.  I ended up creating my own boxes with correct categories and links.  Just haven't figured out how to add tags.
Are you talking about the small tags in green boxes? Because they are G2G tags...
