Can WikiTree profiles include a link to timeline of events in Wikipedia?

Can (and if so, should) WikiTree profiles have an automatic link to a timeline? (e.g. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/18th_century#Events).  A person's birth and/or death date could determine which century to link to.  This would make it easier to see a person's life in the historical context.

I imagine this would be similar to the existing Google map pin.

Only the tech team could answer your question regarding a link to an automatic timeline, Peter. But it sounds like an intriguing potential feature!

In the meantime, you could always manually add such a link to some of your profiles so the rest of us could see how it looks and works.

Add the tag for tech to your post to get their attention, and hopefully, their expert analysis and response.

Hi, No You're unable to put one on your profile page to my knowledge, but if you go to your (My Wikitree - Navigation page) you can place one  within your scrap pad. This is located at the bottom of  left hand corner of the page.

Hope this has been helpful
