Is there a location finder?

I may have over looked it but, is there a way to look for family that is in a specific location?

My exact reason for asking is, I have found some family in a cemetery that is just a few miles from us. I would like to see if there are other family in that cemetery or the one across from it, or any ohters that are close.

Thanks,

Lisa

Thank you to those who have answered, it is great. I knew about the Find A Grave, but was looking of a more broad coverage instead of one at a time to save hours. The other two I had not thought of. I will have to see if they make it easier and if not, use them together or pick the best one of the three for my research.

Thanks again!

I've done this before, but it is a bit of a manual process. If you (for example) want to look at all Murphy LNAB who were born in a particular area, let's say "Ireland", then you would feed Murphy into the search bar, pull up the list, I prefer Table View for this, so I select that, sort by birth date, and then do a Ctrl-F (Find - would be different on Apple) and search for my word (like "Ireland").

It's not perfect, but it helps to give me some idea of which families grew up or originated in a particular area.

You can go to https://www.findagrave.com and search cemeteries and then search by last name

There is no location finder but there are categories which could help. On the top right of the screen, click find, then categories.  Regions and cemeteries would be good places to start looking.
