Seeking info about John Hamilton, b. 1693 Ulster, immigrant to Lancaster, PA

I am trying to unravel the various Hamiltons of Lancaster County PA from about 1720-1820.

I am fairly confident of my work up to William Hamilton (Hamilton-15676). However I have reached a dead end with the identity of his wife and would love any assistance there.

Per Notes and Queries Chiefly Relating to Interior Pennsylvania, he was the son of James George Hamilton (Hamilton-5325) and Mary Miller Hamilton (Miller-15447). However, various user created trees all over the internet have them connected with a different William Hamilton, born 1750.  I am pretty confident this is incorrect.

According to that same book, James George Hamilton is the son of John Hamilton (Hamilton-16280), born about 1693 in Ulster. Here I have struck a dead end. Any suggestions for reliable sources to attempt to learn more about this immigrant ancestor? I believe would have emigrated prior to 1722 to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, specifically Leacock Township.

There are so many William and James Hamiltons in this region at this time that it is all very confusing!

I have been working on this family for years . Some of the other cousins and I think they came from Northern Ireland ,  by way of Scotland.

Some of my male cousins did the Hamilton DNAtest . We are descended from the early people, about 5 thousand years ago . Possibly the Picts .
