ref a Space page in template form acts like an include: bug or feature?

By accident, I had "<ref>{{Space:Space:Burns_Name_Study}}</ref>" and later ... "<references />", and got the entire contents of the Space page inserted into the profile. Something to do with the implementation of stickers no doubt, but I have a feeling its' unintended usage.

What profile?  i think there may be something else in there as well..

i put <ref>{{Space:Space:Burns_Name_Study}}</ref> into my profile to see what would happen, all it did was add a line under references...

  1.  (Space:Space:Burns Name Study)
And if i place it outside the ref tags, it just shows in the profile as

It works better if you don't have Space: in there twice: {{Space:Burns_Name_Study}}

It's called transclusion - and yes, its usage is not approved.

Doesn't have anything to do with the ref tags.
yes, it is transclusion, but my point was it did not happen for me with what was stated as being on the profile, so there must be something else causing it.

I tested the code and only had transclusion with the single Space code.

The double Space code just added a red link.

If you are trying to create a link to the free-space, Dana, you should use the double brackets (same as with profiles), not the double braces. And only use the leading Space: once!
