I met Sharon briefly back in 2009, through my Aunt Rosalie Centanni Amedee, at The Centanni Family Re-Union in Kenner, LA. At that time I had just started building a spreadsheet of my own of the Centanni/Taylor Family. It was really crude and just a list of Families. It was not very organized and not graphically easy to follow. I would go to homes to interview and look at Family records in their Bibles, go to county court houses to review birth, marriage and death certificates. Go to graveyards and find worn down grave site markers, just through Family interaction with Family. I had no idea what Sharon was doing on WikiTree at that time, much knew what WikiTree was, till now. Everything is digitalized now. It just takes time, patience and money for multiple Family DNA tests. Something most of us are in short supply.
Now discovering that Sharon has been doing some serious Family Genealogy for 30+ years, I know she takes Family Research seriously.
I have spent the last 35 years doing Analytical - Research & Development in the field of Chemistry. The discipline of Research requires patience with painless verification and testing, to manufacture a pure product. It's process that needs to be reviewed, tested and verified by other Analytical Research Chemist. I can now see how the Genealogy Process requires a disciplined Investigative attribute to deliver a truthful product, "Our Family Tree".
I hope I can be brought into this community, and learn from the seasoned Pro's the skills to optimize what time the Good Lord has given us, to add one name at a time, to an Evergreen Growing Tree.
Sharon, thank you from the bottom of my heart for the compassion to meet one Centanni at a time, patience to ask question about each one and listen to their stories and finally record for Our Centanni Family to re-visit our precious memories. This is truly a gift to teach and pass on to our Family Tree.
Sincerely,
Kenneth Peter Centanni
This is not a question, this is a sincere note for Appreciation for Sharon Troy Centanne.
