My favorite - photo includes my parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, plus my aunt and uncle, and all us kids in the front. I'm the littlest one!

My favorite - the whole family I remember from childhood. Includes my parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents, my aunt and uncle, and all us kids on the front (my 3 cousins, my brother, and me - the little one with blonde hair).

This photo, taken I believe, Christmas 1945, strikes me in a poignant way. My uncle Paul Syroid and aunt Maryann sit in center, with my grandfather Anthony Syroid on the right and grandmother Rose on the left, holding a photo of my parents, Richard and Jennie Kissinger, who couldn't be there. My baby uncle Dan Syroid sits on the floor, observing. The war was just over. How they must have all longed to be together again!

How they must have all longed to be together again!

My favorite has to be Aunt Marian, who was about 6' tall looking over the top of the refrigerator door. Aunt Ruth, also tall, is in the foreground, and Mom is feeding me so the 'big people' can eat. Christmas at the family farm, 1953.

My favorite Christmas picture is a picture of me!  Surprise, surprise.

I don't know the story behind this picture, but do know that my grandparents kept this picture on their living room wall right above their tv until my grandfather died and my grandmother moved. Then my grandmother gave it to me.  It was taken in 1956.
