Death record for Lydia Tisdale Payne

Lydia Tisdale Payne, b. in Lebanon, Connecticut, married a mariner, Second Lieutenant john Payne.  The couple lived in Nova Scotia and by 1811, they were in the Magdeleine Islands of Quebec.  When their daughter Sophia married in 1814, the priest listed them as "de cette paroisse" -- members of the congregation, roughly.

By 1821, John moved to Boston and filed for a pension.  He married the same year in New York, New York, to "Esther"., who requested bounty lands

Can anyone help me find a death certificate for Lydia?  In 1814, the French-speaking priest blessed the marriage of her daughter Sophia Pain, "fille majeure" (adult daughter) of Jean Pain (John Payne) and his wife "Lauren Thisdelle".  In other words, a record of her death may be in French or English.

You may benefit from other searchers, for example (if you have not already seen this page)  http://ephotocaption.com/a/108/108.html

"Although I can find a record of John & Lydia's marriage in Lebanon Vital Records and in her home church records, , I do not see any children's births listed and Sophia was not baptized here .... This leads me to wonder if John and Lydia moved to Vermont shortly after their marriage. The only way to explore that from here will be to look at land records to see if they sold property in Lebanon."  Donna K. Baron
