Can audio and video files be put on Wikitree and linked on a person profile. If not, are there any plans to make this possible in the future.

they both use a lot of bandwidth and memory. video more so then audio.
Thank you everyone for the information and advice, I thought the issue of space on wikitree could be an issue. Using another site and providing links seems to be the answer

Chris and Greg are correct.

Although AV files can do a lot to enrich family history, especially modern family history, we made the decision not to host them on WikiTree. But they can be hosted elsewhere on the Internet and linked.

I have never seen them used anywhere before, though I have seen some moving gif images displayed. My instinct is that while it might be possible it should not be done. It would almost certainly require CSS/HTML stuff that is not supported and cautioned against in the style guide.

A better option would be to upload the content to youtube or one of the cloud sharing services (like google drive), and include the link on the page.
