Is there a way to manage my own profile that someone else already started?

I'm new to Wikitree. I setup my profile and realized that my profile already exists. I requested a merge but the manager of my profile is not responding. It has been more than 30 days. I would like to manage my own profile.

Welcome to G2G forum Janet.

You can use the following form:

https://www.wikitree.com/contact/takedown/Jackson-15646

Just select "I am this Janet Daghri.",

scroll down and select 

"I would like to be the Profile Manager so that I can edit or remove information myself."

Comments are optional.

I think this way will be much faster.

It seems there have been some editions made by Eowyn Langholf (WikiTree Team member) to the dulicate profile.

Perhaps you were added to the duplicate profile's Trusted List so you were able to complete the merge. Otherwise contact the team to find out how it is going.

The other profile manager has not made any contributions for several months and may no longer be active on WikiTree. You could email WikiTree Admin at info @ WikiTree.com and ask them to help you out.
