We have a large photo of the following 1926 gathering:
--The Los Angeles Times, Thursday January 14, 1926--
Mr. and Mrs. James H. Hardison of Montebello, friends & neighbors in Indiana for many years of the late Mrs. Gene Stratton Porter, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary next Sunday. The anniversary will be the occasion for a party at the Scott Adobe in Montebello, to which the 150 friends of the couple have been invited. Mr. Hardison is one of the oldest pioneers in the oil industry in this country, in 1865 having formed one of the first companies to drill in the Pennsylvania fields. His two brothers, Harvey and Wallace W. later organized with Lyman Stewart what is now the Union Oil Company. Mr. & Mrs. Hardison have 2 children, Wallace Hardison & Mrs. H. O. Butler of Montebello.

We have identified our direct relatives, but now we are in a race to identify others before it's too late.
