I am guessing that Viljoen may be a spelling variant of van Biljon. It demonstrated the value that DNA can add, when’s descendant of a Viljoen from South Afruca did a DNA test and discovered they matched the DNA of Phelan and Whelan from Ireland. Similarly a Koffmann in the USA turned out to match folks named Coughlan.
