Suggestion to make daily "New WikiTree Activity" email feeds more useful.

The daily WikiTree Activity emails are a nice idea, but they tend to offer little value since information about the person in the profile is not very specific.  Think of an edit for "John Smith"... how would you know which John Smith was edited without clicking on the link?  I have given this some thought as to what would be more useful to me and would like to throw it out there for consideration.

1)  If a profile that I manage has been edited, I would like to see it show up as bold (or another type of disguising characteristic) in my activity feed.  This would be useful to me because the person who edited the profile may have found a new source I'm unaware of and it could break open a brick wall for me.

2)  Have an option to follow profiles.  These profiles would show up in the activity feed when edited.

Thanks

Matt, you can check recent edits in the profiles you manage any time you want to do so. Just click on "Family Activity Feed" under "My WikiTree" and you'll see all recent edits to profiles on your watchlist (any profile where you are on the Trusted List).
Great tip Ellen!  Still, I would love to see this included in the daily emails.
It would be really useful if the WikiTree activity list includes the ID number along with the name, so I can quickly check if this is relevant to people I am interested in.  To access info, I am always asked for name-#, and would like this to be the standard for ALL WikiTree notices.

Another suggestion I have is to have your edits show up if not daily, then weekly, so you can follow what paths are currently being worked up. I would find that useful, especially since names are repetitive in my lines.....all of them.

Carolyn, how is what you’re asking different from clicking on your contributions?

If it’s okay to add additional improvement ideas, I’d like to see g2g threads that show up in these email feeds include the link to the answer as they do on the g2g pages. This would allow us to go directly to the answer or comment.  This is particularly helpful for LONGGGG threads.
